As per reports, the Kwara State Police Command announced a crackdown on vehicles with defaced, covered, fake, or unauthorised number plates on Monday (15 June).

• Reports indicate that the enforcement operation also targets unregistered vehicles, unregistered motorcycles, and vehicles equipped with tinted glass windows lacking an official permit.
• Reportedly, police personnel are instructed to impound non-compliant vehicles and prosecute owners to enhance public safety and security across the state.
