NRMA patrol staff launched 48-hour strike over pay dispute in parts of Australia on Sunday (14 June)

As per reports, National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA) Patrol members started a 48-hour strike on Sunday (14 June), marking their first industrial action in 23 years as negotiations for a pay rise fail.

The Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union stated that 210 workers will stop work, with a rally planned in Town Hall Square on Monday (15 June).
