As per reports, emergency response agencies have deployed rescue teams following the crash of a two-seater ultralight tourist plane in the Como area on Saturday (13 June).
• The aviation incident occurred at approximately 1630 hours local time (1430 hours UTC) in a field located near the sports center of Lurate Caccivio, in the province of Como.
• The two-seater ultralight aircraft had initially departed from Locarno, Switzerland, before coming down in Lombardy under circumstances that remain to be officially ascertained.
• Regional fire brigade teams (Vigili del Fuoco), ambulance crews from Appiano Gentile and Lomazzo, and a specialized helicopter rescue team from Sondrio immediately intervened on the spot.
• Investigators from the carabinieri and civil aviation officials have also arrived on the scene to secure the wreckage and initiate formal inquiry protocols.
