As per reports, Nevada State Police were involved in an officer-involved shooting on Interstate 11 near Las Vegas Boulevard at approximately 1350 hours local time (2050 hours UTC) on Wednesday (10 June).

• The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to assist and has assumed responsibility for the investigation in accordance with established protocol.
• Authorities reported that no Nevada State Police personnel sustained serious injuries during the incident. Police also responded to a related scene at Dignity Health Hospital near West Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard, where investigative activities were ongoing.
• As a result of the incident, northbound I-11 was closed after Casino Center Boulevard, with authorities diverting traffic and advising motorists to avoid the downtown I-11 corridor for several hours while the investigation continues.
