As per reports, a complete closure of the Fernpass road B179, Tyrol, Austria, is scheduled from 1000 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) to 1200 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on 27 June due to registered demonstrations.
• The affected sections include Reutte/Katzenberg (Außerfern side) and Nassereith/Rastland (Imst side), with no northbound or southbound transit possible during the closure window.
• Reportedly, the L246 Hahntennjochstraße will also be closed from 1000 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) to 1200 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on 27 June to prevent diversion through secondary routes.
• The emergency vehicles and local residents will be granted limited access, while through traffic will be restricted. The significant congestion is expected before and after the closure, coinciding with increased holiday traffic volumes.
