As per reports, heavy rainfall is forecast across Vidzeme during the night hours of Monday (08 June), while heavy rainfall is expected to continue in parts of Latgale during the early overnight hours.

• The affected areas in Vidzeme include Valmiera, Cēsis, Limbaži, Smiltene, Gulbene, Alūksne, Madona, and surrounding municipalities.
• In Latgale, adverse weather conditions are expected in and around Daugavpils, Rēzekne, Ludza, Krāslava, Balvi, and Preiļi municipalities.
• Temperatures are forecast to range between nine and 14 degrees Celsius overnight.
• On Tuesday (09 June), daytime temperatures are expected to reach between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius across much of Latvia, while coastal areas and northern Vidzeme may record temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius.
