According to reports, online electricity bill payment services and related internet-based services for low-tension electricity consumers across Tamil Nadu will remain unavailable until 1800 hours (local time) on Sunday (07 June).

• The disruption is due to ongoing modernisation and upgrade work on the computer data servers of the Tamil Nadu electricity distribution utility.
• Consumers are expected to resume online bill payment transactions and related services after 1800 hours (local time).
