Cold weather conditions forecast in South Africa on Sunday (07 June)

As per reports, cold weather conditions are forecast across South Africa on Sunday (07 June) following the easing of disruptive rainfall and thunderstorm activity that affected several provinces earlier in the week.

• Reports indicate that cold morning temperatures are expected in inland provinces, including Gauteng, Free State and Northern Cape.
• Minimum temperatures are forecast to reach approximately two degrees Celsius in Bloemfontein, seven degrees Celsius in Johannesburg and Pretoria and eight degrees Celsius in Upington.
• Reports suggest that cool and stable weather conditions will persist in coastal areas, including Cape Town, Western Cape; Durban, KwaZulu-Natal; Gqeberha, Eastern Cape; and East London, Eastern Cape.
• Reports indicate that most regions are expected to remain dry on Sunday (07 June). However, a 30 percent probability of rainfall remains forecast for Cape Town and the southern Cape Peninsula.
