Curfew imposed in Pimpri-Chinchwad from Wednesday (10 June) to Tuesday (23 June)

As per reports, prohibitory orders have been issued for Pimpri-Chinchwad from Wednesday (10 June) to Tuesday (23 June) to maintain peace and order.

• Assembly of five or more individuals in public spaces is strictly banned.
• Holding any public meetings, rallies, or taking out processions is entirely prohibited without explicit prior permission from the Police Commissioner.
• Carrying sharp weapons, firearms, sticks, batons, swords, stones, or any form of inflammable/explosive substances is completely banned.
• Burning symbolic effigies, displaying derogatory posters of political leaders, shouting provocative slogans, and making inflammatory speeches are restricted.
• These restrictions do not apply to on-duty government servants, police personnel, or security forces who require weapons for official duties.
