The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued orange and yellow heat advisories for parts of Taiwan from Thursday morning (04 June) through Thursday afternoon (04 June).

• Orange heat information is in effect for Taipei City, New Taipei City, Tainan City and Hualien County, where daily maximum temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
• Yellow heat information is in effect for Changhua County, where daily maximum temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius.
