As per reports, US President Donald Trump is expected to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Summit in Ankara from 07 July to 08 July.
• The NATO leaders are expected to discuss defence spending commitments by member states and review progress in burden-sharing arrangements within the alliance.
• Reportedly, Turkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that the US remains committed to NATO and that no indications have been received suggesting a planned withdrawal from the alliance.
• The summit is expected to bring together heads of state, senior government officials and diplomatic delegations from NATO member countries in Ankara.
