Situational update on domestic-related shooting spree across multiple locations in Muscatine, Iowa as of Monday (01 June)

As per reports, a series of shootings occurred on Monday (01 June) across multiple locations in Muscatine, Iowa, resulting in six fatalities.

• The investigation began at approximately 1212 hours local time (1712 hours UTC) on Monday (01 June) when police received a report of a shooting at 210 Park Avenue. Officers arrived to find four persons who had sustained gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
• Two other fatalities were recorded at the 1500 block of Mill Street and on the 800 block of Grandview Avenue.
• The suspect was identified as Ryan Willis McFarland, 52, of Muscatine. Preliminary findings indicate that the shootings stemmed from a domestic-related dispute, with all victims believed to be family members of the suspect, who was later prounced dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
