The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued a yellow strong wind advisory for parts of Taiwan on Tuesday (02 June).

The advisory is in effect for New Taipei City, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Yilan County and Penghu County, where daily strong winds are expected to reach level six or gust winds are expected to reach level eight.
