Authorities stated that thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are particularly expected across eastern regions during both daytime and nighttime hours.

• Reports indicate that rainfall and localised thunderstorms are expected across several regions including Latgale, Vidzeme, Zemgale, and parts of central Latvia on Thursday (21 May). Authorities also stated that heavier thunderstorm activity is forecast across eastern districts, while fog conditions may affect coastal and inland areas during the operational period.
• Reportedly, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly cloudy across the country, with comparatively clearer conditions forecast in parts of Kurzeme and eastern Latgale. Temperatures are expected to range between approximately five and 14 degrees Celsius overnight and between 12 and 24 degrees Celsius during daytime hours depending on the region.
• Reports suggest that Riga may witness rainfall on Thursday (21 May), accompanied by light northerly and northwesterly winds, with daytime temperatures forecast near 15 degrees Celsius.
