As per reports, Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (BEDAŞ) has announced extensive planned power supply interruptions across 14 districts of Istanbul on Saturday (09 May) to facilitate infrastructure strengthening and preventive maintenance works.

• The maintenance operations are scheduled to last approximately eight hours in most affected areas, with some regions potentially experiencing disruptions for up to nine hours.
• Scheduled work windows generally begin between 0900 hours local time (0600 hours UTC), with restoration expected by approximately 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC).
• Districts affected by the Saturday (09 May) schedule include Arnavutköy, Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Beşiktaş, Esenyurt, Küçükçekmece, Sarıyer, Şişli, and multiple others across the European side, alongside parallel works by AYEDAŞ on the Anatolian side.
