As per United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 4.6 magnitude earthquake was reported approximately northeast 45 km of Kinablangan, Philippines at around 0710 hours (local time) on Wednesday (06 May).

The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of around 35 kilometers.
