As per reports, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, founder of the Telangana Rakshana Sena, is scheduled to launch a water rights stir in Palamuru on Friday (08 May), focusing on alleged injustice in Krishna river water sharing.
The programme will begin with prayers at the Jogulamba Temple, followed by a public meeting at Choudarigudem in Mahabubnagar district. The meeting venue is located near the proposed KP Lakshmi Devi Palli Reservoir under the Palamuru–Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. The meeting is also expected to see participation from party leaders and supporters, following earlier outreach and mobilisation efforts.
