As per reports, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded approximately 133 kilometres south of Puerto San José and approximately 175 kilometres south of Escuintla, off the Pacific coast of Guatemala, on Saturday (02 May).
The earthquake was recorded at 1035 hours local time (1635 hours UTC) at a depth of five kilometres, classifying it as a shallow-focus event, and the epicentre was located at 12.733 degrees North, 90.912 degrees West.
