As per reports, workers led by the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPI) and the Labour Party are set to participate in a large-scale May Day protest at the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta on Friday (01 May). The demonstration will reportedly take place with approximately 50,000 workers expected to attend from Greater Jakarta, Karawang, Purwakarta, Subang, Greater Bandung, and parts of Greater Cirebon.

During the protest, organizers will reportedly present 11 key demands to President Prabowo Subianto, while organizers have urged participants to maintain a peaceful, orderly, and non-violent demonstration.
