The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a 4.6 magnitude earthquake at a distance of 144 kilometres northeast of Bitung, North Sulawesi, on Saturday (25 April).

The earthquake was reported at approximately 1341 hours (local time) at a depth of 33 kilometres.
