As per reports, traffic congestion has been reported along the EDSA–Ortigas flyover (southbound) in Metro Manila on Friday (24 April), with significant delays observed in the surrounding corridor following a bus fire incident along the southbound lane near Ortigas.

• The congestion is due to lane occupation along EDSA White Plains, where at least two lanes have been affected by the bus fire, resulting in slow-moving traffic and extended queues.
• MRT-03 services have experienced temporary delays, with train trips halted at multiple stations from about 1830 hours (local time) near Ortigas and Santolan.
• Emergency responders have been deployed to manage the fire and regulate traffic flow, with firefighting operations ongoing at the scene as of 1810 hours (local time).
• Continued disruptions are likely due to ongoing response operations and congestion along the EDSA corridor.
