As per reports, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest at Municipal Park in Banihal on Thursday (23 April). The protest was held against the arrest of party leader Mohammad Saleem Bhat and the ongoing shortage of doctors in the Banihal area.

The protestors announced that further agitation is likely in case the authorities fail to resolve their demands.
