The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and hot weather for all the districts in Kerala on Wednesday and Thursday (22-23 April). In addition, on Friday (24 April), the yellow alert continues to remain in Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile, no further weather forecasts are issued for Kerala on Saturday (25 April).
