As per reports, traffic diversions and route changes will be implemented in Belagavi for the Shiv Jayanti procession from 1400 hours (local time) on Tuesday (21 April) until the procession ends. Following this, the Police Commissionerate has advised that vehicle owners should take note of the changed routes.

The traffic route changes will be as follows:

• Vehicles going towards Khanapur via Killa Lake, RTO Circle, Channamma Circle, College Road will be diverted from RTO Circle to SP Office Road, Kolhapur Circle, Y Junction, Sadashivnagar Lakshmi Complex, Vishweshwarayya Nagar, Bachi Cross, Argan Lake, Shaurya Chowk near Military Hospital, Kendriya Vidyalaya Two, Sharkat Park, Globe Theatre towards Khanapur Road.
• Vehicles coming from Khanapur via Globe Theatre will also be diverted from the above route via Hindlaga Road, Hanumannagar Double Road, via Bauxite Road to the highway.
• Vehicles going from Gogate Circle to Shani Mandir via Railway Station Road, Head Post Office and Amba Bhuvan Circle will be diverted via Goave Circle, Nath Pai Circle, Khasbagh to Sambhaji Gali Road.
• Vehicles coming from Nath Pai Circle will be diverted via Bank of India, SPM Road, and vehicles going via Kapileshwar Overbridge will be diverted towards Khasbagh, while vehicles going from Jijamata Chowk to Deshpande Petrol Pump, from Nargundkar Chowk to Patil Gali, will be diverted directly via CBT to Old PB Road.
• All vehicles on Old PB Road going towards Bhatkande School, Kapileshwar Overbridge will Rela be diverted towards Khasbagh and Nath Pai Circle.
• Vehicles going towards Kapileshwar via Old PB Road, Yash Hospital, and Mahadwar Road will be diverted from VRL Logistics via Old PB Road, and vehicles from Kapileshwar via Goodshed Road will be diverted towards Maratha Mandir Goave.
