As per reports, employees and officers from the banking and financial sector are anticipated to conduct a protest march in Mumbai, Maharashtra on Thursday (16 April), to raise concerns over multiple pending demands.

• The protest is expected to take place near the Government Labour Commissioner’s Office. The demonstration has been planned following discussions among various banking, insurance, and financial sector organizations regarding concerns such as working conditions, extended working hours, employee safety, and the implementation of a five-day work week.
• Representatives from multiple employee unions and associations are expected to participate, with prior coordination meetings held to consolidate demands and mobilize attendance.
