As per the Thai Meteorological Department advisory issued on Monday (13 April), hot to very hot conditions accompanied by haze are expected across northern, northeastern, central regions, and Bangkok metropolitan area, with temperatures ranging between 36 and 42 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures between 19 and 28 degrees Celsius, alongside southwesterly to westerly winds ranging between 5 and 15 kilometres per hour.
Isolated thundershowers are expected across eastern regions, particularly in lower parts, as well as southern regions (east coast) including Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, and Narathiwat, and southern regions (west coast) including Krabi, Trang, and Satun, with winds ranging between 10 and 30 kilometres per hour and wave heights expected to remain below 1 meter, increasing above 1 meter during thundershowers.
