As per reports, a major nationwide technical snag affected Jio Fiber services on Sunday (12 April) morning impacting broadband internet, WiFi, and fixed-line telephone connectivity for lakhs of subscribers.
• The disruption, left consumers in cities and towns across India completely cut off, with no internet or landline access. The MyJio mobile app — the primary portal for raising complaints and seeking customer support — also stopped responding, leaving affected users with no recourse to log a grievance.
• Reliance Jio technical teams are reportedly working to isolate and fix the fault, though a specific restoration timeline has not yet been provided.
• Internet monitor NetBlocks noted disruptions affecting users in Chandigarh, Punjab, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
• Other areas across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Pune and other major cities reported identical symptoms.
