As per reports, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister (HM) Amit Shah are scheduled to arrive in West Bengal on Thursday (09 April) and Friday (10 April) respectively. The tentative schedule over the coming days –
• On Thursday (09 April), PM is scheduled to address public meetings at Tamluk, Purba Medinipur at 1130 hours (local time), Asansol in West Burdwan at 1345 hours (local time), Siuri in Birbhum at 1530 hours (local time).
• Following the PM’s departure, the HM will arrive at Kolkata on Thursday (09 April) night. On Friday (10 April), he is expected to announce the party manifesto in Kolkata and then scheduled to address a public meeting in Purba Medinipur. He will hold a public meeting in Debra and a road show in Kharagpur. He will then address two public meetings on Saturday (11 April) in Chhatna, Bankura and Baghmundi, Purulia.
• The HM has announced that he will be in West Bengal for the next 15 days. The exact dates of his stay or the complete itinerary is yet to be announced.
