As per reports, Environment Canada has issued advisories indicating a late season snowfall event is scheduled to begin on Wednesday (08 April) and continue into Thursday (09 April) across parts of Manitoba and central and southern Saskatchewan.
• Snow accumulation is projected to reach up to 30 centimetres across western and northern Manitoba including areas such as Dauphin, Swan River, The Pas, Flin Flon and surrounding communities.
• In Saskatchewan, moderate to heavy snowfall is expected across central and southern regions including Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Kindersley and nearby areas.
• The system is anticipated to intensify through Wednesday (08 April) with reduced visibility and blowing snow conditions developing during the day.
