NZTA announces traffic restrictions on SH 87 between Clarks Junction and Shannon on Thursday (09 April)

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has scheduled vegetation removal works on State Highway 87 (SH87) between Clarks Junction and Shannon on Thursday (09 April).

• Traffic management measures will be in place between 0600 hours (local time) and 1900 hours (local time).
• Stop/Go traffic control will be implemented along the affected stretch, resulting in intermittent halts to vehicle movement.
• A temporary speed restriction of 30 kilometres per hour will be enforced in the work zone. No detour routes have been designated, and all traffic will pass through the controlled section.
