As per reports, a temporary nighttime road closure has been scheduled on the northbound lane of the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway between Wakasa-Mikata IC and Wakasa-Kaminaka IC in Fukui Prefecture. The closure will be in effect from 2000 hours (local time) on Thursday (02 April) until 0600 hours (local time) on Friday (03 April).

The measure has been implemented by NEXCO Central Japan’s Kanazawa branch to facilitate emergency road repair work. During the closure period, all northbound traffic will be diverted to alternative routes. Authorities have designated National Route 27 and Prefectural Route 22 as official detour routes to accommodate vehicles travelling through the affected section.
