Multiple rail line closures scheduled across Auckland from Friday (03 April) to Sunday (12 July)

The Auckland Transport has announced planned rail closures across multiple lines in Auckland as part of network maintenance and upgrade works, scheduled from Friday (03 April) to Sunday (12 July).

• Full closures will be implemented across the Southern Line, Eastern Line, Western Line, and Onehunga Line from Friday (03 April) to Monday (06 April) and again from Monday (13 April) to Wednesday (15 April).
• The Eastern Line will remain fully closed from Friday (03 April) to Saturday (11 April), followed by night works on Sunday (12 April) and further closures from Monday (13 April) to Wednesday (15 April).
• Partial closures on the Southern Line between Puhinui and Pukekohe (servicing Manukau) will occur from Tuesday (07 April) to Sunday (12 April).
• Network-wide closures will be implemented from Saturday (30 May) to Monday (01 June), followed by additional closures from Friday (10 July) to Sunday (12 July).
• Partial closures will affect sections between Waitematā and Newmarket, Waitematā and Orakei (with services stopping at The Strand), and New Lynn and Swanson on Saturday (16 May), Saturday (23 May), Sunday (24 May), and Saturday (06 June).
• Additional partial closures will occur on Saturday (25 April), with services operating only until 1400 hours (local time) before full closure.
• Rail replacement bus services (Rail Bus Eastern, Southern, Western, and Onehunga) will operate during closure periods, covering affected stations.
