As per reports, the Patna Jain Sangh will be organising extensive celebrations in connection with Mahavir Jayanti across Patna, from Sunday to Tuesday (29-31 March).
The following are the additional details:
• Sunday (29 March): Around 1900 hours (local time), a cultural program will be organised at the Bihar Chamber of Commerce. Children and women will present various stories dedicated to Lord Mahavira.
• Monday (30 March): From 1900 hours (local time) onwards, a Bhajan Sandhya for world peace will be organized at Shri Parshvanath Digambar Jain Temple, Congress Ground.
• Tuesday (31 March): On the day of Mahavir Jayanti, at 0800 hours (local time), a procession will be taken out from Shri Parshvanath Digambar Jain Temple. At the conclusion of the procession, a Mahamastakabhishek of Lord Mahavir with 108 Kalashs, worship, Aarti and a collective Vatsalya Bhoj will be organized at Mithapur Jain Temple.
