As per reports, the Maran District Police Headquarters has announced a temporary road closure in Sungai Jerik, Maran, starting at about 1600 hours (local time) on Monday (30 March) to facilitate the Panguni Uthiram festival.

• The main road in front of the Sri Maranthandavar Temple and surrounding areas will be closed from 1600 hours (local time) on Monday (30 March) until 1400 hours (local time) on Wednesday (01 April).
• The closure is intended to ensure safety and manage traffic during the annual religious festival, which is expected to draw increased public attendance.
• Motorists will be required to use alternative routes, including Jalan Simpang Bangas, Jalan Utama, and Bandar Jengka, to access the affected areas.
