As per reports, the 20th edition of the UNLP Marathon Delfor De La Canal is scheduled to take place on Sunday (29 March), with the start planned at 0900 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) at the intersection of 12th Street and 53rd Street near Plaza Moreno in La Plata, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

• The event was originally planned for 05 October 2025 but was postponed due to weather conditions and later rescheduled for March 2026 for organizational reasons by the National University of La Plata UNLP.
• The event is scheduled to include three race categories consisting of a 10 kilometres competitive race a five kilometres participatory race and a two kilometres walking and recreational run for elderly participants children and families.
• Participants are expected to gather at Plaza Moreno and surrounding streets including Avenida 7 12th Street 53rd Street and nearby central La Plata roads where event related movement and temporary restrictions may occur on Sunday (29 March).
