Power supply disruptions scheduled in Honduras on Tuesday (24 March)

As per reports, the National Electric Energy Company (ENEE) has scheduled power supply disruptions across multiple areas of Honduras on Tuesday (24 March) to facilitate maintenance and grid strengthening works. The disruptions are scheduled between 0900 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) and 1500 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).

• Affected locations include San Pedro Sula, Villanueva, and Santa Cruz de Yojoa. In San Pedro Sula, impacted zones include Residencial Guadalupe, Barrio Las Acacias, Barrio Guamilito (east), Barrio Las Flores, FACACH, Expocentro, Cervecería Hondureña, Molino Harinero Sula, and surrounding commercial and industrial facilities.
• In Villanueva, multiple residential colonies and industrial zones including La Puerta I and II, Chamelecón, Villas San Juan, Colonia San José, San Jorge, and toll and industrial areas are included.
• In Santa Cruz de Yojoa, affected areas include El Olvido, Las Lomitas, Concepción, San Isidro, Montecillo, Payacam, Casas Viejas, and nearby rural and industrial zones. The disruptions are part of planned infrastructure works aimed at improving electricity network reliability.
