As per reports, the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) has issued a weather alert regarding increased wind speeds along the coastal region of Arequipa, Peru, effective from Sunday (22 March) through Tuesday (24 March).
• The affected areas include the coastal provinces of Caravelí, Camaná, and Islay, where winds are expected to range from moderate to strong intensity, with speeds reaching approximately 20 kilometre per hour, particularly along the southern coastline.
• Authorities have issued an orange alert level for parts of the Peruvian coast, while the Arequipa coastal region remains under a yellow alert, indicating potentially hazardous but manageable conditions.
