As per reports, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) confirmed three deaths from leptospirosis in the regions of Piura, San Martín, and Tumbes on Thursday (19 March), amid a rise in cases associated with humid conditions and flooding.

The outbreak is linked to humid conditions and flooding, which increase exposure to contaminated water.
