As per reports, a fire outbreak occurred at a house located on Bournemouth Crescent at Aranui in Christchurch at around 2000 hours (local time) on Friday (20 March). In response, fire and emergency crews have contained and extinguished the fire at around 2030 hours (local time).

Meanwhile, two individuals were reported to have sustained serious injuries and have been transferred to Christchurch Hospital for further treatment.
