As per reports, the Metropolitan Police Department has announced road closures in parts of Washington from Friday (20 March) to Saturday (21 March) due to a half-marathon event.

• The road closures are scheduled to take place on Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, 4th Street from Madison Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, 6th Street from Indiana Avenue to Constitution Avenue from Friday (20 March) at 1800 hours local time (2200 hours UTC) to Saturday (21 March) at 1800 hours local time (2200 hours UTC).
• Constitution Avenue from 9th Street to 15th Street is scheduled to be closed on Saturday (21 March) from 0300 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) to 1200 hours local time (1600 hours UTC).
• On Saturday (21 March), from 0600 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 1200 hours local time (1600 hours UTC), the road closures are scheduled for Constitution Avenue, Virginia Avenue, Constitution Avenue to E Street, C Street, E Street, E Street to Constitution Avenue, Virginia Avenue to Whitehurst Freeway, I Street, Calvert Street, Adams Mill Road, Columbia Road, Harvard Street, Harvard Street to Bryant Street, Bryant Street to North Capitol Street, K Street to E Street, and E Street to Pennsylvania Avenue.
