As per reports, the Pune district administration has announced temporary traffic diversions in the Vadhu Budruk area on the occasion of the death anniversary of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. According to District Collector Jitendra Dudi, the traffic diversions will remain in place from 2200 hours (local time) on Tuesday (17 March) to 2200 hours (local time) on Wednesday (18 March).

The traffic management measures are being implemented to regulate vehicular movement and facilitate the movement of devotees visiting Vadhu Budruk during the commemorative event.

• Heavy vehicles travelling from Koregaon Bhima towards Chakan and Pabal will be diverted via Koregaon Bhima-Sanaswadi-Shikrapur-Gas Phata-Wajewadi Chowfula.
• Heavy vehicles travelling from Chakan and Pabal towards Pune will be diverted via Wajewadi Chowfula-Gas Phata-Shikrapur-Sanaswadi-Koregaon Bhima.
• Vehicles carrying devotees arriving from the Koregaon Bhima side will not be allowed to move beyond the designated stoppage point.
• Vehicles carrying devotees arriving from Chakan and Pabal will not be permitted to move beyond the designated parking stoppage point on the Vadhu-Wajewadi Chowfula road.
