As per reports, a pickup tempo carrying workers overturned on Ramraj–Bhilji Road in Alibaug Taluka, Raigad District, Maharashtra, on Friday (13 March) after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while traveling along the route.

• The accident resulted in one fatality, while approximately 15 workers sustained injuries. Local residents and emergency responders assisted with rescue operations and transported the injured to the District Hospital in Alibaug, where they are currently receiving treatment. Reports indicate that some injured individuals are in critical condition.
• Preliminary information suggests the workers were employed by a private contractor working for GAIL, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
