As per reports, daytime hot conditions with scattered thunderstorms are expected across multiple parts of Thailand on Friday (13 March), with gusty winds and isolated hail likely in northern, northeastern, central, eastern and Bangkok metropolitan areas.
• Thunderstorm activity is anticipated to affect provinces including Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phetchabun, Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat and Bangkok.
• In southern coastal areas, scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are expected particularly across Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat, while isolated thundershowers are also likely along the Andaman coast including Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Moderate easterly winds and elevated wave heights exceeding two metres during thunderstorms are anticipated in affected marine zones.
• Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 17 and 27 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures are likely to range between 28 and 36 degrees Celsius nationwide.
