As per reports, Hespress, several major road corridors in Casablanca, Morocco experienced elevated traffic congestion due to the significant presence of heavy trucks across the city road network on Wednesday (11 March).
• Traffic congestion has been particularly reported along Boulevard Moulay Ismail near the headquarters of the Second Channel in Ain Sebaa, where heavy truck movement overlaps with commuter traffic.
• Additional congestion has also been observed along Boulevard Armee Royale and Boulevard Ibn Tachfine, which connect industrial districts and port related transport routes within Casablanca.
• According to reports, heavy trucks travelling toward industrial zones and the port areas contribute to increased pressure on the road infrastructure during periods of high commuter movement.
• As of 0531 hours local time (0431 hours UTC) on Wednesday (11 March), traffic congestion continues to be reported across several road corridors in Casablanca, particularly along Boulevard Moulay Ismail near Ain Sebaa, Boulevard Armee Royale, and Boulevard Ibn Tachfine due to ongoing heavy vehicle movement.
