As per reports, authorities have issued prohibitory orders under Section 163 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in Mirgund, Mirchipora and adjoining areas of Singhpora till 2130 hours on Wednesday (11 March).

The order prohibits the use of loudspeakers or amplifying devices without prior permission from the district administration and bans assemblies of four or more persons, processions, and the carrying of weapons in the area.
