Description:

• The strike garnered widespread support from the Piraeus Labor Center and numerous unions across Attica. Public statements from union representatives emphasised worker dissatisfaction and the determination to continue mobilizations until their demands are met.
• A major rally was scheduled for 1500 hours (local time) on Saturday (10 May) at the park’s main gate, with a high turnout from supporting unions and associations. Strikers report consistent and prolonged delays in salary disbursement (ranging from 02 to 05 months), uncompensated overtime work, and substandard safety and working conditions.
