Description:
As per reports, the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department Traffic Management Bureau in a notice issued that a province-wide upgrade of the traffic management information system will take place from 1800 hours (local time) on Friday (10 April) to 0800 hours (local time) on Sunday (12 April).
During this period, all public security traffic management systems across Guangdong will be temporarily unavailable, including services accessed via the Traffic Management 12123 app and the 12123 voice hotline. This will affect vehicle registration, licensing, violation processing, and other administrative services.
Background:
The upgrade is part of routine system enhancement efforts aimed at improving operational capacity and service efficiency of Guangdong’s traffic management infrastructure.

The outage is expected to result in temporary administrative disruptions across the province, particularly for individuals and businesses requiring traffic-related services.
