As per reports, the Plovdiv Municipal Transport Organisation and Control has announced temporary road closures in Plovdiv on Wednesday (08 April) due to a football match between PFK Botev Plovdiv and PFK Lokomotiv Plovdiv at Hristo Botev Stadium.
Traffic is to be suspended on all vehicles, including public urban transport, on the following corridors:
• At Bul. Iztochni, between the intersections with Bul. Knyaginya Mariya Luiza and Bul. Sankt Petersburg.
• At ul. Bogomil, between the intersections with Bul. Iztochni and ul. Lev Tolstoy.
• At ul. Varshava, between the intersections with ul. Bogomil and ul. Slavyanska.
• At ul. Lev Tolstoy, between the roundabout with ul. Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov and the intersection with bul. Knyaginya Mariya Luiza.
• The match is scheduled to commence in the evening on Wednesday (08 April), with road restrictions in effect from 1800 hours to 2400 hours local time (1500 hours to 2100 hours UTC).
• Affected areas include the Kolezhа district and surrounding boulevards in central-eastern Plovdiv in the vicinity of Hristo Botev Stadium.

• Vehicular access on the bul. Iztochni, ul. Bogomil, ul. Varshava, and ul. Lev Tolstoy is suspended from 1800 hours to 2400 hours local time (1500 hours to 2100 hours UTC).
• Public bus services on lines Nine, 10, and 36 are operating on modified routes, and passengers using regular stops on the affected segments may find services suspended or rerouted.
• A significant police presence is to be deployed in the vicinity of Hristo Botev Stadium and along fan march routes; access to adjacent business premises and hospitality venues may be subject to intermittent restrictions.
• Localised congestion on surrounding arterials, including bul. Knyaginya Mariya Luiza and bul. Sankt Peterburg is anticipated during the pre-match and post-match periods.
