As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has issued a red alert for 55 municipalities in Espírito Santo, forecasting over 100mm of daily rainfall, posing significant risks of major flooding, river overflows, and large-scale landslides on Wednesday (03 December).
• All 78 municipalities in the state are also under orange alert for severe storms, with rainfall between 30-60 mm/hour or 50-100 mm/day, winds of 60-100 km/h, and possible hail.
• Affected cities under red alert include Afonso Cláudio, Água Doce do Norte, Águia Branca, Alfredo Chaves, Aracruz, Cariacica, Colatina, Guarapari, Linhares, Serra, Vila Velha, and Vitória.
