Description:
According to reports, maintenance, repairs, and safety works are being undertaken by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) due to which power supply will remain temporarily suspended in parts of Nagpur on Thursday (09 April).
• Installation of a new A.B. switch, jumpering, and trimming of tree branches will be completed on the 11 KV Mahalgav feeder in the Mahal division. Additionally, essential maintenance and repair works will be carried out on the 11 KV Ganeshnagar and 11 KV Pallotti feeders.
• Consequently, the power supply will be shut down from 0830 hours to 1230 hours (local time) in areas including Ghar Sansar Society, Panther Nagar, Sangharsh Nagar Chowk, Devi Nagar, Suraj Nagar, New Suraj Nagar, Pawanshakti Nagar, Bhandewadi area, Dharti Maa Society, Antuji Nagar, Abbumiya Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, and Shailesh Nagar.
• Power supply will remain closed from 0800 hours to 1200 hours (local time) in areas under the 11 KV Ganeshnagar feeder, namely Ganeshnagar, Sharda Chowk, Mahavir Nagar, Anand Nagar, Bhagat Colony, Old Shukrawari, Mali Pura, and Teli Pura.
• In the Civil Lines division, power supply will be suspended from 0900 hours to 1200 hours (local time) for areas under the 11 KV Pallotti feeder, including Anant Nagar, Mahesh Nagar, Kotwal Donga, Rathod Layout, Geeta Society, New Ahbab Colony, Arafat Colony, Suraj Nagar, and Pallotti Nagar.
Impact:
Business operations across affected areas are likely to face temporary disruption due to power supply interruptions, particularly impacting offices, retail establishments, and industrial facilities reliant on continuous electricity.
Power supply disruptions may also extend beyond the stipulated time period. Further local directives are to be issued as per situational requirements.
